Securitas USA is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Vernon Hills, IL to safeguard people and property. The role involves patrolling, monitoring cameras and alarms, controlling access, and responding to incidents with professional discretion.

No prior experience required, but candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and solid customer service skills. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 4pm–12am; wage $18.00/hr; benefits and paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
