Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Belcamp, MD to provide reliable security services at an industrial site. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts and the opportunity to earn more through additional shifts via the scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to incidents, patrolling production and warehouse areas, and upholding site policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen is required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Report hazards and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Part Time Warehouse Screening in Belcamp, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Report hazards, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
