Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age (unarmed) or 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution through site-specific security procedures and access-control protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identifications, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals per site policies.
• Monitor entry activity, logs, alarms, and security systems; report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and requests for assistance calmly and according to escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat: 09:00 AM - 01:30 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front‑desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, alarm notifications, and other assigned security‑related systems; report irregularities or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, courteous, problem‑solving manner while following established escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, including visitor activity, incident reports, and shift communications, and provide clear updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
