Allied Universal in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Vehicle Patrol. In this role, you will drive on-site to monitor and protect client sites, maintain a visible presence, and support access control. Schedule is Sat/Sun 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with pay rate $19.67/hour.

A valid driver's license, at least one year security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required. You will document observations using a tablet and work with a team dedicated to safety.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in state of job location.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems on site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to detect unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
