Allied Universal in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Tablet Patrol) to serve tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents.

The role emphasizes customer service, access control, and reporting daily activities and incidents. Schedule is Thursday through Saturday overnights with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour, offering training and growth

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel by following site procedures and access protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a professional environment.
• Prepare daily activity reports and incident documentation for supervision.

• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a professional environment for occupants and guests.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
