Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Tampa, FL. You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, conduct regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document daily activities to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, offices, parking facilities, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of daily activities, patrols, incidents, and maintenance or security-related observations.
