Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on patrolling a commercial real estate site, maintaining a visible security presence, and assisting tenants, visitors, and staff with professionalism.

You will report observations, respond to security concerns, and deliver excellent customer service. A flexible schedule supports day shifts, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and assistance as appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and site management.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
