Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Culver City, CA. You will patrol retail spaces, assist visitors, and maintain a visible safety presence while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with shifts including 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM on multiple weekdays. Expect to conduct routine checks, document activities, and deliver exceptional customer service to tenants and guests.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and contractors per site policies.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of retail areas and parking zones to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity per protocols.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate with management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations according to established protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with site management, customers, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
