Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a part-time unarmed security officer to provide a visible customer-focused presence at a residential community. You will monitor access, patrol assigned areas, and respond calmly to incidents to deter security-related activity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking areas, perimeters and other designated locations.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Observe and report security-related conditions and policy violations.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a residential condominium location.
• Monitor and control access to the property, verify authorized visitors and/or contractors, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Observe and report security-related conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
