Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Reston, VA. You will patrol, monitor access points, and deliver customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. This role requires a DoD Secret Clearance and prior security experience, with CPR certification preferred.

Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only, where applicable.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
