Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time, unarmed patrol role in Hopedale, OH. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Position type: Part Time. Pay: $19.00 per hour. Schedule includes Night shifts: Thur 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM and Fri 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Allied Universal promotes equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site procedures.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report suspicious activity to site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and handoff communications.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
