Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications site by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, report suspicious activity and maintenance concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs and shift handoffs with a professional presence.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
