Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorized access, and report unusual conditions and maintenance concerns to site leadership.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership.
• Support a professional workplace environment by completing required activity reports and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
