Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Phoenix, AZ. You will provide customer service, deter security incidents, support access control, and maintain professional standards across a manufacturing and industrial site.

The position offers part-time hours with daytime and weekend shifts, and a pay rate of $21.50 per hour. Guard card preferred; background checks and drug screening are part of the process; licensure requirements vary by state.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership.
• Support a professional workplace environment by completing required activity reports and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.
