Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and program participants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate support personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and assist with orderly entry and exit procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Document incidents, patrols, and unusual occurrences accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures in a healthcare treatment environment.
• Document incidents, patrols, and unusual occurrences accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
