Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors per site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of offices, common areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and reports of incidents.
• Communicate observed conditions and support needs to site personnel and leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related incidents.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and support needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
