Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Seattle, WA to serve and safeguard clients across industries. Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.
• Licensing requirements may be required and may vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and site personnel while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeters to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and property concerns in a calm, solution-focused manner and document actions.
• Prepare accurate daily activity, incident, and patrol logs for leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
