Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Support in Manassas, VA. You will safeguard clients, monitor access, and patrol facilities while delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, laboratories, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.
