Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Delaware, OH. You’ll monitor access, patrol the facility, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding site policies and emergency procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted as part of employment.

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and report through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Support a professional financial-services environment with a visible presence and reporting of issues.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, promptly communicating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Support a professional financial‑services environment by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions or assistance, and reporting maintenance, access‑control, and other security‑related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
