Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Westerville, OH to monitor and protect banking facilities, assist employees and visitors, and deter incidents.

Position offers a flexible part-time schedule with night shifts and a pay rate of $19.10 per hour. CPR certification is preferred, and a background check and drug screen may be required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at financial institutions through security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly following escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances and be vigilant for suspicious activity or policy violations, reporting to leadership and client representatives.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports and communicate observations as required.

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
