Job summary

Allied Universal in Dayton, OH is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol to protect clients across multiple sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide customer service, respond to incidents, and help deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a visible, welcoming presence.

This role offers a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform and opportunities to explore additional shifts. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour, with a supportive team and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Mon 07:30 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue 07:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Wed 07:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Thur 07:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Fri 07:30 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up needs to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
