Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Culver City, CA. The role includes patrolling, monitoring access, and delivering high-quality customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.

You will work with a team to deter incidents, respond to alarms, and complete logs and reports. Minimum requirements include HS diploma and background check; drivers license for driving positions may be required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors at a healthcare services location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
