Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is recruiting for a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Officer at an Amazon warehouse in Charlotte, NC. The role emphasizes visible security presence, customer service, and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with the verification of credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
