As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving role offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and utility personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry and activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and incidents to appropriate personnel and prepare clear, accurate documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
