Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Minnetonka, MN. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, monitor access, and respond to alarms and emergencies while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare and laboratory location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
