Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the data center campus and surrounding areas.
• Monitor and document access activity, deliveries, and other security events.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and follow post orders and protocols.

Pay Rate: $21.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the data center campus, interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor and document access activity, visitor and contractor entry, deliveries, and/or other security-related events in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional, controlled environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following post orders, reporting requirements, and applicable technology facility protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
