Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in Whitsett, NC to protect client sites across technology, media, and telecom environments. The role offers a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform and an hourly pay rate of $16.89.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, provide excellent customer service, and report incidents according to site procedures. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles (if applicable).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

• Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
