You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized personnel and visitor credentials, and directing individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, package or vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe loading, unloading, and delivery operations for compliance with site procedures, report potential security-related concerns, and complete required activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
