Allied Universal is looking for a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Charlotte, NC. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe site conditions, document unusual activity, and report concerns per site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting visitors and tenants with inquiries.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial property common areas, parking facilities, exterior spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe site conditions, document unusual activity, and report maintenance or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with visitor directions, tenant inquiries, and other property-related requests.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
