Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR in Charlotte, NC. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts for higher earnings and a 6-month commitment at a designated site.

Pay rate is $24.50 per hour with daytime hours on Thu 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in security or a related field and possess a high school diploma or GED.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and employees while following security procedures at the site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor/activity; report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation and patrol logs per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR in Charlotte, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ('Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, assisting with directions and reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
