Job summary

Allied Universal® in Nashville, TN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Coordination). You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding site-specific policies.

The role offers flexible scheduling with evening/night shifts and access to our Shift-Claim platform to explore additional opportunities. A background screen and drug test are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience, or a college degree.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

• Provide customer service to occupants, visitors, and government personnel per site policies.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to occupants, visitors, and/or government personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facility interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access irregularities to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, maintain patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
