Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government facility personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and professionally and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in reports and logs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to government facility personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
