Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Support in Groveport, OH. You will patrol and monitor a food and beverage location, provide excellent customer service, and support access control while using computer or tablet systems.

The role offers a flexible schedule with Saturday and Sunday night shifts. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and drug screen per policy.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting entries, exits, and incidents.
• Support controlled environments around production, storage, shipping, and receiving areas by reporting concerns to leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, exits, and security-related incidents.
• Support a controlled environment around food production, storage, shipping, and receiving areas by reporting unauthorized access, damaged barriers, or other concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
