Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a technology location in Chantilly, VA. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and delivering strong customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor-management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation and communicate with Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor-management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
