Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in El Monte, CA. You will monitor and protect client sites, provide excellent customer service, and support access control while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $21.35 / Hour

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:
