Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer to monitor and protect a premier commercial real estate property. You will perform access control, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

This role offers flexible day/evening shifts, with a pay rate of $20.50 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma, and comfort using basic computer devices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential common areas, parking facilities, access points, amenities, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and visitor entry in accordance with site procedures, provide directions, and assist with resident and guest inquiries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
