As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utility location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Tue: 05:30 AM - 10:30 AM
• Wed: 05:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Thur: 05:30 AM - 12:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a utility location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns through required reports and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
