Allied Universal in Hopkins, MN is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to protect patients, visitors and staff at a healthcare location. You’ll provide customer service, monitor access points, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism while logging activities and incidents per site requirements.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and report hazards or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports as required.

Pay Rate: $22.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
