Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol to safeguard guests and property across hotels, resorts and other client sites. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents with a visible presence, and deliver professional customer service to guests, residents, and staff.

Pay is $21.50 per hour with Part Time schedules; you can build a flexible weekly roster and explore new shifts via our Claim a Shift platform.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screening are required where permitted by law.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, corridors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and guest concerns in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and logs and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, residents, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, residential corridors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns, and assist with directions and general information as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
