Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Lacey, WA. You will patrol unarmed, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors at a technology-focused location.

You will monitor access points, respond to alarms and incidents, document activities, and support site procedures. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within a leading security and facility services company.

Competenze

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check required.
• Drug screen to be conducted where permitted by law.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Lacey, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, common areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, assisting with visitor and contractor direction as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
