Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for overnight shifts in Lebanon, OH. You will protect clients across tech and telecom environments, patrol premises, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professional customer service.

Earn a weekly pay cadence and build a flexible schedule through our shift-claim platform. Minimum requirements include being 18+ for unarmed roles, a high school diploma, and passing background and drug screenings as applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and escort procedures in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence in a data center and technology‑focused environment.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
