Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Bordentown, NJ. You will patrol, deter incidents, assist employees and visitors, and maintain a visible security presence at a tech/media/telecom site.

Role requires a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid is preferred. Schedule includes afternoon/evening shifts; pay rate is $19.50 per hour. Background checks and possibly drug screening apply.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, production spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report irregularities or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete clear, accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
