Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Cleveland, OH, to perform lot patrols and driving duties while delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

You will work a schedule that supports the site, with access to our platform to claim shifts and explore new roles. A valid driver’s license is required, and the position requires 18+ (21+ for armed roles) with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and operational needs.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue – 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:
