Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Deterrence Patrol) in Kernersville, NC. You will patrol and monitor a logistics facility, deter security issues, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters at a logistics facility.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and drivers.
• Observe and report unusual activity or policy violations to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document details in required reports.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations at a logistics and distribution facility.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, access concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details through required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
