Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Part Time Unarmed CPR Patrol Security Officer to protect students, staff, visitors, and property. The role emphasizes a visible presence, customer service, and calm incident response in an educational setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• State or local security license preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families by following site procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents and campus concerns in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report unusual conditions and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports with professional presence on campus.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, student, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities while maintaining a professional presence in an educational setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
