Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Client Service Patrol in Whitsett, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors at a technology-focused location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security systems; document observations and patrols.
• Support a welcoming environment by giving directions and reporting maintenance or operational concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned security-related systems; document observations, incidents, and completed patrols in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment by providing directions, answering routine questions, and reporting maintenance or operational concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
