Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries per procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and suspicious activity calmly and document incidents.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and write reports, coordinate with airport operations and public-service agencies.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.08 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with established airport and government-site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with incident documentation.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and written reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support coordination with airport operations and public-service agencies as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
