Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time - Unarmed Security Officer in Hardeeville, SC. You will safeguard clients across logistics and distribution settings, manage access points, verify credentials, assist visitors and employees, and maintain professional communication to ensure a safe environment.

This position defines a flexible schedule with daily shifts; prior customer service and access-control experience are preferred. A background check and drug screening are required by policy.

You will manage entry points, verify credentials, assist visitors and employees, and help maintain an orderly environment through professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for entry and exit.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, driver, and vehicle logs; issue and collect access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
