As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and document daily activities using computer or tablet tools. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.74 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee access badges to ensure security protocols are followed.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing online resources effectively.
• Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess a background in customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and customers.

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
• Document observations, incidents, and policy violations through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
