Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with access control and badges preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• 18+ (21+ for armed roles) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, process visitors and contractors, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
• Support a professional, controlled environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following applicable post orders, client policies, and Allied Universal procedures.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
